Description
This mighty Viking Preemie Hat knitting pattern features a garter stitch border, moss stitch detailing, and fiberfill-stuffed horns for added impact. It’s the perfect talisman to lovingly make for a tiny preemie who needs as much strength as he can get.
There will be a tiny little bit of sewing to attach the horns to the hat, but other than that, it’s basic knitting in the round on either 2 circs or 4 dpn’s.
Because of the multiple colours (3), this is a great project for using up yarn ends you’ve got waiting in your stash. No more languishing at the bottom of a basket — it’s on to bigger and better things for them now! (Or, should I say smaller and better?)
