Four 2-hour knitting classes:
Sundays, October 2, 16, 23, 30, 2022 (No class on Thanksgiving weekend, the 9th)
2:00 – 4:00 pm
Enjoy knitting your own project, knowing that Amanda will be there to answer your questions and help with any problems. Get knitting tips and tricks, help with tension and fit, and mistakes fixed, stress free! These classes provide encouragement, friendship, and new knitting skills, whether you’re a beginning knitter or you’ve been knitting for years. Amanda has extensive knowledge of special knitting techniques (brioche, colourwork, cables, sock heels and toes, mosaic knitting, double knitting, finishing, etc.) and pattern writing and design. No problem is too hard to solve.
This knitting class will be held at Rideau Park United Church at 2203 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa. There is ample free parking and a bus stop out front.
Bring your own projects, yarn, and knitting supplies. We have a large, comfy room with couches and a big table and chairs. You’re welcome to bring your own coffee and snacks.
Masks are not required, but you’re welcome to wear one. If we have any attendees who prefer everyone wear a mask, then please be prepared to put one on. I’ll have hand sanitizer to clean my hands before touching any project. The room is large and we can open windows to circulate fresh air (until it starts to get too cold, of course).
This knitting class has a minimum number of 4 students (enrolled by Saturday, October 1, 2022) required to run. Cancelled classes will be fully refunded. Otherwise, there is no return or exchange on classes. (I hate to do this, but I need to be able to pay the rent.)
Want to join the class, but can’t attend every week? The Drop-In option is for you! Those spots will become available once the monthly spots have reached the four-student minimum.
