Drop in for any 2-hour session of my ongoing classes! If you’re busy and can’t commit to a multi-week class, this is your chance to personalize your schedule. Join us whenever you can, and we’ll be glad to see you.
Pick a date (or two or three…) from the drop-down menu to purchase your spot and let me know when to expect you.
What Happens at Knitting Class?
Enjoy knitting your own project, knowing that Amanda will be there to answer your questions and help with any problems. Get knitting tips and tricks, help with tension and fit, and mistakes fixed, stress free! These classes provide encouragement, friendship, and new knitting skills, whether you’re a beginning knitter or you’ve been knitting for years.
These knitting classes will be held at Rideau Park United Church at 2203 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa. There is ample free parking and a bus stop out front.
Bring your own projects, yarn, and knitting supplies. We have a large, comfy room with couches and a big table and chairs and breezy windows. You’re welcome to bring your own coffee and snacks.
Masks are not required, but you’re welcome to wear one. If we have any attendees who prefer everyone wear a mask, then please be prepared to put one on. I’ll have hand sanitizer to clean my hands before touching any project. The room is large and we can open windows to circulate fresh air (until it starts to get too cold, of course).
Classes canceled by the teacher (because of illness or emergency, for example) will be fully refunded or exchanged for a future date. Otherwise, there is no return or exchange on classes. (I hate to do this, but I need to be able to pay the rent.)
