Hi all! Thanks for visiting. 🙂 I think knitting is awesome, and I love how the internet can make learning a new skill so much easier. So, while I teach a Learn to Knit class in an actual real-life setting, I’m going to make videos for my students and post them here.
We’ll start at the beginning, with a basic, all-purpose Cast On method, and then each subsequent video will teach you the next thing you need to know.
As I do in my real-life classes, I’ll probably throw in tips as we go. For instance, I’m not just going to teach you to cast on, I’m going to show you how to do it evenly.
So if you’re interested in learning to knit, and you don’t have time to make it to a class, and maybe you’re finding the internet a little too big when searching for lessons, then this is the place for you.
Just start at the first link and work your way down the list of videos as you’re ready.
Take the time to get used to each technique and build up some muscle memory. Remember that learning a new skill will almost always feel awkward and strange at first, and it’s totally normal to second guess yourself. But if you keep at it, then before you know it, you’ll be moving on to new and exciting projects.
